Tony Wood shows
Born in the north-east of England in 1958. Attended Grangefield Grammar School, Stockton-on-Tees, going on to read music and classics at the University of Sheffield.
Worked as computer software developer, then as consultant design engineer and trainer in the energy industries, travelling extensively in many parts of the world.
Retired as an engineer in 2000 to live in France and USA in order to pursue a long-term interest in the arts. Founded Mezzo Mondo Fine Art in the UK, France and USA (Mezzo Mondo Corporation Inc), and developing one of the first and largest art galleries on the internet, with a physical gallery in south-east France on the border with Italy.
Lived in Spain for several years, becoming a founder of the North Mallorca branch of Lions Clubs International, the largest service organisation in the world, assisting many local and international charities.
Produced classical concert programme notes for the Balearic Symphony Orchestra in Palma de Mallorca, whilst working closely with its conductors, orchestral members, and also the then President (Jose Ramón Bauzá) and Government of the Balearic Islands.
Most recently residing in Romania with wife, Andreea, and two young children, Adam and Sara, whilst working in London with the Outcast Foundation.
